SALARY:     Nine-month hire-in range: $36,664 to $40,067 (depending on education and related teaching and/or industry experience); Excellent fringe benefits;

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Instrumentation (bachelor’s preferred) from a regionally accredited college or university;
• Minimum of three years of non-teaching wage earning experience in instrumentation or I&E;
• Teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred;
• Demonstrated ability in working with culturally diverse populations and bilingual language skills preferred;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Reports to the Division Chair of Physical Sciences and Process Technologies;
• Prepares curriculum, including writing syllabi, preparing labs, developing new courses, selecting textbooks, etc;

             PART-TIME SECURITY OFFICER

High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Some college preferred.  Prior security experience in an educational, medical, or corporate environment desirable.  Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and meet driving record criteria.  Criminal history background check required due to security sensitive position.  Operates college security vehicles, performs duties associated with assigned work schedules (may include day, evening, and night assignments during the week and/or weekends).  Patrols campus buildings and grounds.  Performs CPR and basic first aid as needed.  Assists students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors.  $10.46 hourly.  Applications accepted on a continuous basis.
